Kaori Heat Treatment Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 473.801 million compared to TWD 501.630 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 22.226 million compared to TWD 40.758 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.25 compared to TWD 0.46 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,021.995 million compared to TWD 1,033.333 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 77.743 million compared to TWD 92.129 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.87 compared to TWD 1.03 a year ago.
Kaori Heat Treatment Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the heat treatment business. The main products include thermal energy products, plate heat exchangers, and metal products and processing. Thermal energy products include new energy fuel gas recombiners, core reactor furnace parts for refractory batteries, refrigerated air dryers, core reactor furnace parts for burner batteries, and others. The plate heat exchanger is mainly used in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry, air pressure, hydraulic machinery industry, food industry, high frequency furnace industry, boiler industry, rubber and plastic industry, fuel cell, electric vehicle and other general industries. The processing of metal products is mainly for welding of automobile, locomotive and air-conditioning appliances, as well as annealing and solid solution of stainless steel pipes and electric heating pipes. The Company distributes products in domestic market and to overseas markets.
