RE: Appointment of Director

The Board of Directors Meeting of KASIKORNBANK PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED No. 9/2016, held on September 29, 2016 passed a resolution inagreement with a recommendation by the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee to appoint Mr. Pipit Aneaknithi , Senior Executive Vice President, as Director and President of the Bank to replace a vacant director position.

The Bank of Thailand has now concurred with the appointment of Mr. Pipit Aneaknithi as Director and President of the Bank. Such positions shall take effect as of January 1, 2017.
