KE Holdings Inc.('Beike') (NYSE:BEKE) recently announced that its virtual reality service unit, Realsee's self-developed Galois Laser VR Device (Galois) won the Red Dot Design Award, a renowned international industrial design prize, for its outstanding performance and superb product design.

Released by Beike RealSee in April 2020, Galois is a new generation laser-based professional VR collection device. It efficiently and accurately scans, measures and renders an entire house which then allows users to evaluate and experience the space virtually without being physically present.

With powerful data collection capabilities, the Galois accurately restores the three-dimensional structure, scale information, overall layout, interior decoration, and other room details of a house which facilitates an immersive user experience that makes online VR viewing comparable to offline viewing.

Delivering high performance, Galois is also a 'lightweight' device. With its ingenious design, the overall weight of the machine is less than 3KG which makes it very portable and allows the photographer to operate it with one hand. Last but not the least, Galois's aesthetically pleasing design also features bold lines and an exposed metal radiator makes it stand out among similar products.
