Keller has been awarded Leaders in Diversity status by the National Centre for Diversity (NCfD) in recognition of its commitment to promoting fairness for everybody in the workplace.

The company was awarded Investors in Diversity status in 2019 and since then the senior leadership team and staff have been working towards Leaders status; an award that marks Keller out as an organisation which believes in a fair, respectful, equal, diverse, inclusive and engaging culture.

That work has been assessed by the NCfD who were impressed with how the FREDIE principles have been adopted across the business.

Their auditor, Kam Unwin, said in her report: "There are so many ways that FREDIE shows up in Keller including in inductions, training, communications, personal development reviews, resources, intranet/SharePoint sites, newsletters, webcasts, videos, the website and most importantly in many staff and leader responses about their view on how inclusive, fair and family-like the workplace culture at Keller Limited is."

Keller's work on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion has also been recognised more widely. The company won the Board/Senior Leadership Team of the Year award at the 2021 FREDIE Awards, held by the NCfD to promote excellence in promoting the FREDIE principles and was also included in the NCfD's Top 100 Most Inclusive Workplaces for the third year running.

Keller was also highly commended at the Ground Engineering Awards for their work with EDI.

Now that work will continue with the Keller leadership team implementing recommendations from the NCfD on how the FREDIE principles can be further embedded in the business.

Bob Thompson, Keller UK Managing Director, said:" This is a tremendous achievement and a great reflection of how we work as a company and our dedication to working in The Keller Way; I would like to thank everybody for their efforts in making this possible".

The company has also recently launched Keller Women in Construction (Europe) - an employee-led initiative to promote the career development, recruitment and retention of women working in Keller as it seeks to further strengthen the company's commitment to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
