Kellogg's: Building better days: from pixel to playground.

There it was: a Minecraft playground. Sitting in a park in Marietta, Georgia.

What started as an idea on a conference call and wound up as a partnership with the world's most-played video game was standing there before us, in real life.

It was the result of our Build for Better program, a campaign in partnership with Minecraft that spanned some of Kellogg's most iconic products, such as Kellogg's Frosted Flakes, Eggo and Cheez-It.

The ask? Create the playground of your dreams on Minecraft then submit your design for a chance to see it built in real life with the help of the wonderful people of KABOOM!, a nonprofit committed to ending playspace inequity in the U.S.

The response? More than 640 incredible submissions from our passionate Kellogg consumers. KABOOM! volunteers judged the designs on creativity, inclusivity, practicality for being built and appropriateness for all ages.

The winner? Morgan Slone, a 21-year-old college student from Lexington, Kentucky, with her creative Mushroom Playground. An avid Minecraft player for over a decade, she knew she had to participate when she saw the Build for Better promotion on one of our packages!

The result? An inspiring playground at the James T. Anderson Boys & Girls Club in Marietta that we hope will create better days and bring joy to the kids of that community.

This incredible playground is the culmination of months of work and collaboration. I was so proud to stand alongside my Kellogg colleagues, members of the Marietta community, and our partners at the unveiling-all without whom this wouldn't have happened.

At Kellogg, we believe our delicious foods are building blocks for meaningful moments together. So, when we started thinking about the next step in our partnership with Minecraft-a game in which players work together to build things with blocks-we knew we wanted to do something bigger, something that would help us fulfill our Better Days Promise to advance sustainable and equitable access to food and create better days for 3 billion people by 2030. Knowing that the result of our partnership will enrich the lives of kids in one of the communities we serve for years to come is truly humbling.

Thank you to my Kellogg colleagues who were involved in this, our partners, and the creativity of our consumers. Because of you, Build for Better is now Built for Better!
