Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. on Thursday said Ozan Dokmecioglu, who took the helm of the beverage maker at the end of July, has resigned as chief executive over violations of the company's code of conduct.

The Burlington, Mass., company said Bob Gamgort, who has been serving as executive chairman since handing the reins to Mr. Dokmecioglu, has reassumed the CEO post.

Keurig said the violations by Mr. Dokmecioglu were unrelated to the company's strategy, operations or financial reporting.

Mr. Dokmecioglu had been serving as Keurig's chief financial officer and president of its international operations before he was tapped to succeed Mr. Gamgort, who has been CEO since the 2018 union of Keurig Green Mountain and Dr Pepper Snapple.
