Keyrus Group buys a majority stake in C17 Engineering to strengthen its digital businesses and its expertise in Microsoft technologies

Levallois-Perret, January 13, 2021 - Keyrus, an international player in the fields of Data Intelligence, Digital, Management Consulting, and Business Transformation, announces its acquisition of a majority stake in the digital services company C17 Engineering, enhancing its expertise in Consulting and Development around Microsoft technologies.

Founded in 2010 by three partners, C17 Engineering is a digital services company created by engineers positioned exclusively in Microsoft technologies. The firm provides consulting and implementation services to support the .NET applications/Azure cloud platform/DevOps value chain.

C17 Engineering has always developed learning through knowledge sharing and has built its reputation on its training and coaching services to create cloud-native (Azure) applications via the top-notch development approach of software craftsmanship.

C17 Engineering generated around €3 million in revenues in 2019 and has some 30 employees. The company managed to retain its staff in 2020 despite the health crisis and benefited from the market's accelerated shift towards digital technology to guide its clients in developing modern, resilient, scalable applications that run on the Azure cloud platform.

C17 Engineering will profit not only from the extensive digital and data footprint of Keyrus in Paris, but also the Group's many listings with major French and international accounts. Keyrus will benefit from C17 Engineering's innovative learning methods through the implementation of intensive, immersive, gamified boot camps, training sessions, workshops and IT events designed for staff, customers and partners.

Jonathan Béhar, Co-Founder and CEO of C17 Engineering, states: 'C17 Engineering will roll out all of its expertise to Keyrus's clients to support them in software development, industrialization and automation (DevOps), architecture, deployment and cost management in the cloud. This merger also aims to strengthen Keyrus's data offering in the Azure cloud. The synergy of skills will bring clients end-to-end, turnkey solutions that combine strategic thinking with large-scale implementation.'

Eric Cohen, Founder and President-CEO of Keyrus, states, 'We are delighted to welcome the talented team from C17 Engineering to Keyrus. This venture will considerably ramp up C17 Engineering's development while strengthening our strategic partnership with Microsoft. The new acquisition is perfectly in line with our strategy of developing an entrepreneurial model of external growth, in which founding partners retain their stake in their company while expanding their scope of action and responsibility within the Group. This virtuous model responds to the challenges of the digital transformation market, which requires speed, agility and performance.'
