Keywords Studios is delighted to announce the opening of Lakshya's new game art studio in Bangalore, India.

Acquired by Keywords in 2014, Lakshya is India's leading game art and animation company and the opening of its new premises in Bangalore will take its number of global locations to six.

Built to support Lakshya's growing art services client base, the Bangalore facility will be a state-of-art studio featuring cutting-edge art and animation technology.

Lakshya plans to hire up to 100 people in Bangalore in the coming months, in different roles and positions such as project managers, art leads, animators and 3D artists.

The new studio will be headed up by Raju Patil, who has more than 20 years' experience in the industry, having co-founded Dhruva Interactive in 1996.

Raju brings with him a deep understanding of the game art business, and years of experience of building teams and managing studios.

Founded in 2004, Lakshya is a pioneer in the art outsourcing services for the video games industry. The company has developed art and animation for some of the biggest game titles globally, for clients including Microsoft, Warner Brothers, Square Enix, From Software Disney and Bandai Namco.

Apart from the newly opened Bangalore studio, Lakshya has a presence in Gurugram and Pune in India, Seattle in USA, Tokyo in Japan and London in UK.
