Kimberly-Clark de México, S. A. B. de C. V. announced earnings results for the second quarter of 2018. For the second quarter sales were MXN 10.6 billion. This represents a quarterly record and translates into a 10% increase versus the same quarter of 2017. Volume growth represented 3%, while price and mix added 7% points to the top line. Operating profit increased by 13.3% and the operating margin was 19.2%. During the quarter, the company generated MXN 2.4 billion of EBITDA, a 10% increase, and EBITDA margin was 23%. Net income for the quarter was MXN 1.1 billion, a 9% increase and earnings per share were MXN 0.35.

CapEx for the year 2018 will be approximately MXN 100 million.
