Kin Mining NL (ASX: KIN or Company) is pleased to report the final assay results from the drilling program at the Cardinia Gold Project (CGP).

The results have identified new, high grade zones of mineralisation at Comedy King and narrow ore grade mineralisation at Snowden Well. Further results from the Lewis East and Lewis West prospect and single metre splits of wide zones of new mineralisation at Cardinia Hill, Lewis East, Black Chief and Comedy King are expected by mid to late February 2020. All targets drilled are located within 5 kilometres of the proposed Cardinia processing plant site.

The AC drilling results have been received from part of the drilling program completed in December 2019. The program consisted of 7,881 metres of AC and 880 metres of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling across six key target areas. The targets are prospective for gold-rich sulphide replacement and epithermal vein-hosted gold mineralisation. Refer to ASX announcement 4 December 2019.

Commenting on the further CGP drill results, Managing Director Andrew Munckton said: 'The 2019 aircore drilling program completed in December has been a particularly successful campaign which has confirmed our belief that the Cardinia area holds substantial zones of high grade mineralisation in addition to the Mineral Resources that have previously been defined.

The exploration team have made significant new discoveries at Cardinia Hill, Lewis East and now, Comedy King. These latest results confirm the presence of high grade, epithermal vein style mineralisation within broader zones of lower grade mineralisation and alteration at Comedy King. The Snowden Well RC results also show a strike continuous zone of narrow, ore grade mineralisation consistent with the Chert unit(s) mapped at surface that returned high grade rock chip results.

The results to date are indicative of a large mineralised system at Cardinia and support our exploration objective of identifying new zones of mineralisation with potential to enhance the current CGP mine plan as outlined in the Pre-Feasibility Study completed in mid-2019.

Cardinia Hill, Comedy King and Lewis East appear to be large scale zones of mineralisation which remain open and warrant follow-up drilling, expected later in the current March quarter 2020. The close proximity to the processing plant site only serves to further enhance the results. We look forward to reporting the remainder of the initial assay results in February 2020.'

Comedy King

The Comedy King prospect hosts historic drill intercepts of 1m at 40g/t and 2m at 10.1g/t gold produced from RC holes drilled towards the east. Recent rock chip sampling results of 895g/t and 277g/t (refer ASX announcement of 4 November 2019) and mapping has shown that most of the historic workings exploited quartz veins dipping moderately to the north. The December 2019 drilling program completed four lines of aircore drilling for 4,144m oriented to intersect the north dipping veins.

The prospect is centred on the north-east oriented Lewis Fault which is the focus of gold mineralisation further south at both Lewis and Lewis East prospects. The Comedy King prospect is also cut by an east-west trending Proterozoic Dolerite dyke which post-dates mineralisation. In the north of the prospect, drilling intersected a number of discrete quartz veins with attendant sulphide mineralisation hosted in Felsic Volcanic rocks. The veins are interpreted to be initiated by the Lewis Faults zone.
