Kinko Optical Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 900.83 million compared to TWD 881.71 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 60.94 million compared to TWD 49.35 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.37 compared to TWD 0.3 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.37 compared to TWD 0.3 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 2,569.22 million compared to TWD 2,072.81 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 168.8 million compared to TWD 138.85 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.03 compared to TWD 0.85 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.03 compared to TWD 0.85 a year ago.
KINKO OPTICAL CO., LTD. is principally engaged in the development, design, manufacture and distribution of optical lens modules and components. The Company mainly operates through two business segments, including Asia Operation segment and Domestic Operation segment. The Company primarily provides optical lenses modules and elements. Its products are applied in the manufacture of liquid crystal display (LCD) projectors, digital cameras, mobile phone cameras, televisions, multifunctional machines, digital video cameras and digital monitoring systems, among others. In addition, it is involved in the provision of after-sale technical support services, agent purchase of raw materials and others. The Company distributes its products primarily in Taiwan and other Asian markets.
