Kirkland's, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended October 29, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 130.96 million compared to USD 143.63 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 7.34 million compared to net income of USD 7.23 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.58 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.54 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.58 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.51 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 336.35 million compared to USD 381.99 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 40.9 million compared to net income of USD 9.57 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 3.22 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.69 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 3.22 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.64 a year ago.
