Kissei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (TSE:4547) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 700,000 shares, representing 1.5% of its share capital, for ¥1,502.4 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to implement a flexible capital policy which responds to changes in the business environment. The repurchase plan will be valid till March 5, 2021. As of February 28, 2021, the company had 46,716,020 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 5,095,165 shares in treasury.
