KKB Engineering Bhd has secured a total contract sum of MYR 30.8 million from two jobs awarded by Petronas Dagangan Bhdand a purchase order from Laras Jaya Engineering Sdn Bhd (LJE). In a filing with Bursa Malaysia March 20, 2019, KKB said the first contract from Petronas Dagangan was for the Price Agreement for New and Refurbishment of LPG Cylinders for Petronas Dagangan: Fabrication, Reconditioning of LPG Cylinders, and Supplying and Delivering LPG compact valves. For the second job, its associate company, Edisi Optima Sdn Bhd secured the Price Agreement for Refurbishment of LPG Cylinders for Petronas Dagangan: Requalification and Shot-blast Repainting of LPG Cylinder contract. Both contracts, effective March 15, 2019, are valid for three years, unless terminated earlier with an option to extend them for up to two years. Meanwhile, KKB said the Supply of Mild Steel Concrete Lined pipes for the Sarawak Water Supply Grid Programme -- Stressed Area on the purchase order from LJE, is scheduled for completion within nine months.
