--U.S. private-equity firm KKR & Co. is in advanced discussions to invest at least $1 billion in Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd., the retail arm of Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries Ltd., Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

--The potential deal could be as big as $1.5 billion and come as soon as this month, Bloomberg reports. It would follow a $1.02 billion investment from Silver Lake announced on Wednesday.
