EAST GREENVILLE, Pa., May 10, 2021- Knoll, Inc. (NYSE:KNL), a constellation of design-driven brands for the workplace and home, today announced the five high school seniors who have been awarded the 2021 Knoll Diversity Advancement Design Scholarships for Black Students. Knoll created the scholarship in 2020 to develop the next generation of Black architects, graphic designers, industrial and architectural engineers, interior designers and industrial designers.

The program provides individual tuition awards of $10,000, renewable annually, to a total of five Black 2021 high school graduates in the United States and Canada who will be pursuing studies at two- or four-year institutions. It is administered by Scholarship America, a leading nonprofit scholarship and educational support organization that works directly with students, parents, colleges, businesses and communities.

The Knoll Diversity Advancement Design Scholarships for Black Students is one of two new initiatives to support more inclusive and diverse communities. In 2020, Knoll also launched a corporate partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

'These students are creative leaders in their communities. We look forward to their contributions to their degree programs as well as their impact over the course of their careers,' said Andrew Cogan, Knoll Chairman and CEO.
