CPH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING / WELCOME

26 APRIL 2021

(performed in Danish)

I would like to welcome all of you out there behind your screens to the 30th Annual General Meeting of Copenhagen Airports.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the authorities have allowed all companies to hold online AGMs this year.

Normally we meet with our shareholders in Vilhelm Lauritzen's beautiful terminal building from 1939. But unfortunately that is not possible this year. So we must make do with being together but apart at this year's webcast AGM.

There are just a few of us here in the auditorium - the large meeting room in the airport's administration building. CEO Thomas Woldbye will run through the financial statements a bit later.

And our experienced meeting chair, attorney Christian Kjoelbye, will shortly explain how today's AGM will proceed and all the new technology.

Aviation is in the middle of its worst ever crisis. But there is also light at the end of the tunnel and confidence about the future. I look forward to expanding on that in my report.

At the end of the year we had 5,488 registered shareholders. You can see the composition of the shareholders on the screen: The Danish State holds 39.2% of the shares; Copenhagen Airports Denmark owns 59.4%. That company is owned by the Danish Labour Market Supplementary Pension Fund, ATP, and the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, OTPP, in Canada. The remaining 1.4% of the shares are held by private and institutional investors.

THE BOARD

I would now like to introduce my colleagues on the Board:

  • David Stanton, deputy chairman
  • Ulrik Dan Weuder, deputy chairman
  • Janis Kong
  • Charles Thomazi
  • Martin Praestegaard

And the employee representatives

  • Dan Hansen
  • John Flyttov
  • Betina Hvolboel Thomsen

Can I also say a big thank you to Ulrik Dan Weuder for his collaboration. Dan is leaving the Board today. We have worked closely together in the chairmanship.

We are also joined today by the company's auditors. And now it is time for me to hand over to the chair of this AGM, Christian Kjoelbye.
