Koei Tecmo Holdings Co., Ltd. announced consolidated financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year of 2019. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 26,806 million against JPY 24,030 million for the same period a year ago. Operating income was JPY 7,101 million against JPY 5,688 million for the same period a year ago. Net income was JPY 8,466 million against JPY 8,261 million for the same period a year ago.
For the fiscal year ending March 2019, the company expects net sales to be JPY 41,000 million. Operating income is expected to be JPY 12,000 million. Net income is expected to be JPY 12,500 million.
KOEI TECMO HOLDINGS CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the entertainment business, the slot and pachinko (SP) business, the amusement facility operation business and the real estate business. The Company has four business segments. The Entertainment segment is engaged in the development and sale of entertainment content products. The SP segment is engaged in the contract development of commercial amusement equipment, as well as the related royalty income business.
