Komax Holding AG (SWX:KOMN) agreed to acquire 56% stake in Suzhou Hosver Automation Technogogy Co,. Ltd. on March 19, 2024. The Komax Group has secured the option to acquire Hosver fully at a later stage. The four founders and previous owners will remain shareholders in Hosver and continue to form the management team in future.The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024.

Komax Holding AG is a Switzerland-based holding company engaged in the machinery sector. The Company specializes in mechatronics, electronics and software technology, and concentrates on developing, producing and marketing capital goods and services for wire-processing, photovoltaics and medical technology applications. The Company divides its activities into three main business units: Wire, Solar and Medtech. The Wire business unit operates in the sector of wire-processing. The Solar business unit develops, produces and sells machines for the production of crystalline and thin-film modules. The Medtech business unit manufactures and markets machines and systems for the assembly of medtech products, such as inhalers and insulin delivery or injection systems. The Company also provides sales and service support functions through its subsidiaries and independent agents in over 60 countries. The Company operates production facilities in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa.
