Tokyo (March 13, 2013) - Konica Minolta Business Technologies, Inc. (Konica Minolta) is pleased to announce that Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI) *1, the leading global provider of information and testing services to the digital imaging industry, chose Konica Minolta as the winner of its most coveted award, 2013 "Line of the Year" in the A3 MFP*2 segment for the third consecutive year.
BLI's "Line of the Year" is a prestigious award, given once a year to the manufacturer, whose product line is determined to be the best in its category, based on the various cumulative test results conducted for all models in BLI's rigorous laboratory evaluation.
In the last year, Konica Minolta's bizhub series won 12 MFP "Pick*3" awards in the MFP category, more than any other manufacturer, and its outstanding performance was recognized in 2013 with the "A3 MFP Line of the Year" award.
Konica Minolta products received comprehensive high marks from the BLI rigorous laboratory evaluation tests in key areas that mattered most to end users - reliability, ease of use, productivity and durability.
