Konoike Transport Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan; Representative Director,

Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer: Tadahiko Konoike; hereinafter "Konoike Transport") produced its KONOIKE Group Integrated Report 2021, which summarizes the strengths of the KONOIKE Group's financial and non-financial capital, value creation process, and other matters for continuing to be a valuable presence for the Group's stakeholders. The English version was released today on the KONOIKE Group website (IR Library: https://www.konoike.net/en/ir/).

The Corporate Philosophy and mission of the KONOIKE Group is, "We pursue innovation at the foundations of our society that creates unique value, driven by respect for humanity and relationships of trust." Through business activities based on this Corporate Philosophy, for over 140 years since our founding, we have continued to grow to the present, while earning the trust and patronage of the diverse stakeholders surrounding Konoike Transport, including our clients, employees, shareholders, and local communities.

This Integrated Report takes a look back at our activities and achievements of the past 140 years-plus, which are based on our Corporate Philosophy. It more concretely presents such matters as the KONOIKE Group's origin and DNA to contribute to the resolution of social issues through our business activities, which has been passed down since our founding, as well as how we are today as we engage in the creation of new value toward the achievement of a sustainable society. From our thinking in regard to the future, and a summary our business, to the passion of the management team, the content has been designed to enable a wide understanding of the KONOIKE Group.

・Explanation of the Sustainability Promotion Structure

The Sustainability Basic Policy was formulated as the KONOIKE Group's guiding principles for the more concrete promotion of response to sustainability-related challenges, which are growing larger as social issues, and contribution to the achievement of multifaceted SDGs targets while keeping in accord with Group's past record of activities based on the Corporate Philosophy. Furthermore, to conduct concrete business activities that are based on this basic policy, we established the Sustainability Committee as an advisory body under the Board of Directors. In the next Medium-term Management Plan, we will promote the strengthening of concrete efforts by all divisions under this policy and structure.
