KORDSA TEKNIK TEKSTIL A leader in tire, composite technologies, and construction reinforcement Kordsa, one of the subsidiaries of Sabancı Holding, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Ohio-based new generation thin-film solar panel manufacturer Toledo Solar Inc.
Through this cooperation, the company obtained primary rights to operate Toledo Solar technologies across the European continent and Central Asia, starting with Turkey and Central Europe.
Kordsa, a global player in the tire and construction reinforcement and composite technologies markets, which aims to create sustainable value by offering innovative reinforcement solutions with high added value to all its stakeholders and the communities it is in, with the mission of "Reinforcing Life", continues its investments and collaborations in Turkey and abroad. The company has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Toledo Solar Inc, a leading American manufacturer of powerful, innovative, and durable solar panels and glass. In line with this cooperation, Kordsa now holds primary rights for production, sales and similar commercial activities utilizing Toledo Solar technologies in the European continent and Central Asia, starting with Turkey and Central Europe.

Kordsa with its new strategic cooperation will be able to implement an ideal solution for the rooftops of Europe's homes, businesses, and factories by making all-glass, thin film, and ultra-durable solar modules that are recyclable with low carbon footprint. With this new collaborative partnership, Kordsa will also expand the use of solar energy in buildings, automotive and agriculture in Europe, as well as large scale solar power plants and the rapidly growing floating solar energy panels sector.
