One train will be offline during Jan. 2-7 for scheduled maintenance, the notice stated. The plant's two production trains have combined nameplate capacity of 7.8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) on Curtis Island.

Santos is the operator of GLNG with a 30% stake. Its co-owners are Malaysia's Petronas, France's Total SA and Korea Gas Corp (KOGAS).

LNG producers in Queensland, Australia voluntarily submit information on production maintenance to the AEMO.
