KOSÉ Corporation announced consolidated earnings results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020. For the period, on consolidated basis the company reported net sales were JPY 327,724 million against JPY 332,995 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 40,231 million against JPY 52,408 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 26,682 million or JPY 467.76 per basic share against JPY 37,004 million or JPY 648.71 per basic share a year ago.
For the year, on non-consolidated basis the company reported net sales were JPY 146,482 million against JPY 155,244 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 4,234 million against JPY 15,399 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 17,180 million against JPY 25,445 million a year ago. Basic net income per share was JPY 301.18 against JPY 446.08 a year ago.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the full year ending March 31, 2021. For the year, the company expects to report net sales of JPY 286,600 million, operating profit of JPY 17,200 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 12,500 million or JPY 219.13 per share.
