Two supermarkets, Kroger and Acme Fresh Market, have applied for licenses to have sports gaming kiosks at Ohio locations, according to a Cleveland.com report.

Acme has been preapproved at nine locations, including seven in Summit County, the Parma store on Pleasant Valley Road and one in North Canton.

Kroger has been preapproved at 42 grocery stores statewide.

The kiosks will fall under the Ohio Lottery Commission's purview while the licenses will come from the Ohio Casino Control Commission following a recommendation from the Lottery Commission.
