An unknown buyer agreed to acquire a 8.5% stake in Kumho HT, Inc. (KOSE:A214330) for KRW 17.2 billion on August 18, 2020. As part of the consideration, KRW 5.16 billion paid as down payment on August 18, 2020 and KRW 12 billion will be paid on September 30, 2020. Board of directors of Kumho HT, Inc. resolved the transaction on August 18, 2020. On September 4, 2020, the balance date for payment of KRW 12 billion is on September 4, 2020. Transaction expected date of sales is September 30, 2020. Transaction scheduled disposition date is now on September 4, 2020.
KUMHO HT, INC is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of automotive lighting components. The Company operates its business through two segments: light emitting diode (LED) modules segment, which manufactures fog lamps, side marker lamps, turn signals, side repeaters, daytime running lights (DRLs), rear combination lamps (RCLs), stop lamps, back-up lamps, center high mounted stop lamps (CHMSLs) and others, and incandescent lamps segment, which manufactures wedge bulbs, festoon bulbs and others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
