Kunlun Energy 2021 Net Profit More Than Tripled

Kunlun Energy Co. reported that its full-year net profit more than tripled thanks to higher natural gas sales.

The energy company's 2021 net profit reached 23.02 billion Chinese yuan (US$3.6 billion), it said late Tuesday. Its 2020 net profit was CNY6.06 billion.

Kunlun Energy's 2021 revenue rose 27% to CNY138.55 billion, it said.

The energy company's retail sales of natural gas in 2021 rose 18% to 25.71 billion cubic meters, outperforming the industry's average.
