Kyowanissei Co.,Ltd. (JASDAQ:1981) and an unknown buyer agreed to acquire Gaia Tech Co., Ltd. on March 11, 2021. Kyowanissei Co.,Ltd. will acquire 189 shares of Gaia Tech Co., Ltd. Gaia Tech Co., Ltd. reported total assets of ¥549.374 million, amount of sales of ¥7,238.191 million, operating income of ¥51.142 and net income of ¥379.081 million for the year ended May 31, 2020. The board of directors of Kyowanissei Co.,Ltd. resolved the transaction. The transaction is expected to complete on April 1, 2021.
KYOWANISSEI CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the gas construction business, and construction and civil engineering business. The Company operates through three business segments. Gas construction segment is engaged in the gas construction business, including main pipe burial construction, branch pipe burial construction, and indoor plumbing construction, as well as heating and cooling hot water supply, and air conditioning equipment construction businesses. Construction and Civil Engineering segment is engaged in the construction and equipment work, including construction work, plumbing and sanitary equipment work, and air conditioning equipment work, as well as electrical and civil engineering work, including burial work for electric conduits, water and sewage works, and civil engineering work. Other segment is engaged in the leasing and maintenance of vehicles, non-life insurance agency services, and inspection services for plumbing with scientific instruments.
