PITTSBURGH (AP) _ L.B. Foster Co. (FSTR) on Tuesday reported a third-quarter loss of $2.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Pittsburgh-based company said it had a loss of 20 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 9 cents per share.

The railroad track manufacturer posted revenue of $130 million in the period.
