"Well I mean I think the beauty standards are hard now because of social media and I think filters and I think of AI, I mean it just gets more fake and so it's hard to, I think, for younger women, to navigate that perfection and thinking that everybody's perfect and we're not. We're all in real life, we have our flaws, we have our bad skin days, we have our bad eyebrow days and so I think that's definitely different than when I was growing up."
:: Andie MacDowell, Actor
"I was 27 and I'm 67 now so I'm in a different body completely but I think I appreciate the idea of beauty more now than I ever did. It's important for me to send a message to women my age that there is no expiration date on beauty and we deserve a seat at the table and if anything, we are more worth it than ever."
The Women of Worth gala dinner took place on the sidelines of the Cannes Film Festival, which runs from May 13-24.
Members of the jury, including actors Juliette Binoche and Halle Berry, also attended.
