La Française de l'Énergie announced the commissioning of 3 additional cogeneration units at its Anderlues site, in Wallonia, which installed capacity increases from 3.0 to 7.5 MW, a per its planned field development. This very significant increase in production capacity in Belgium occurs in a particularly favorable electricity price environment with average sales prices expected at more than €200 per MWh in the first quarter. A major contribution to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

To the 5 cogeneration units now installed, the capture of coal mine gas on the Anderlues site will allow the group to avoid an annual emission of over 500000 tonnes of CO2eq and will foster the positioning of La Française de l'Energie as one of the main players in the energy transition of the Walloon region.
