FDJ launches its Stakeholder Committee

Boulogne-Billancourt (France), 7 December 2020 - The FDJ Group has announced the launch of its Stakeholder Committee. Its aim is to facilitate dialogue between the Group and stakeholders in its socio-economicenvironment regarding the major challenges facing its business, and to oversee the implementation of the commitments it has made, following the publication of its "raison d'être" (purpose). This approach reflects the Group's priority to ensure that the results of this exercise are practical and can be rolled out operationally.

After adding the Group's raison d'être to the introduction to its Articles of Association, approved at the Shareholders' Meeting on 18 June 2020, six commitments were made to put this purpose into practice. They cover the gaming offering, customer experience, responsible gaming policy, social and environmental initiatives, and support for local businesses.

FDJ Group's commitments

These six commitments were drawn up through a collaborative effort, based on work including

the company's employees, its stakeholders, and experts in CSR and corporate governance.

They cover key components of the company's business:

  • Develop an entertaining, secure and responsible gaming offering
  • Support customers at every stage of their experience at points of sale and online
  • Limit problem gambling and prevent underage gambling
  • Expand community, social and environmental initiatives
  • Help preserve local businesses everywhere FDJ operates
  • Promote a responsible gaming model internationally

A forum for dialogue to oversee the implementation of FDJ's commitments

The FDJ Group's Stakeholder Committee met for the first time via videoconference in early December, together with Stéphane Pallez, Chairwoman and CEO of FDJ, and Charles Lantieri, the Group's Deputy CEO.

The aim of its launch is to foster high-level dialogue on the Group's transversal issues, and in particular to oversee the implementation of the commitments defined following the adoption of its raison d'être. The committee will offer new perspectives, enable discussion on initiatives taken by the company in application of its raison d'être, pass on expectations and suggest opportunities for progress and improvement.

The committee has 13 members and is chaired by Rose-MarieVan Lerberghe, who previously served as Director General of the AP-HPhospital system and Chairwoman of Korian.

The committee's members represent the diversity of FDJ's main stakeholders and/or have expertise in the Group's key areas of interest, in connection with the topics covered by its raison d'être.

Stéphane Pallez, Chairwoman and CEO of FDJ Group, said: "FDJ was born out of an outpouring of support for wounded veterans of World War One, 85 years ago. Adopting our raison d'être was a way for us to reaffirm this unique identity, along with our ambition to ensure that growth goes hand in hand with support for our communities. Today, by announcing our commitments and launching our Stakeholder Committee, we've reached another milestone in this journey. I'd like to sincerely thank the members of this committee for agreeing to work alongside us. Their expertise and constructive critical thinking will be invaluable in pushing us to go even further."
