In honor of Veterans Day Nov. 11, Lamar Advertising, specializing in outdoor billboards, is recognizing 132 military veterans employed by the company with a week-long national digital billboard campaign that launched Nov. 8, according to a company press release.

Lamar will display the names and images of employees who have served on its digital billboard inventory across the country.

"Veterans Day is an opportunity to recognize the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served," Tammy Duncan, executive VP of human resources for Lamar Advertising, said in the release. "We are so proud of all of the military veterans who work at Lamar and honored to use our national digital network to show our appreciation for their service."

Founded in 1902, Lamar Advertising has over 351,000 displays across the United States and Canada. Lamar sells billboard, interstate logo, transit and airport advertising formats, Lamar also has a large network of digital billboards in the U.S. with approximately 3,800 displays.
