Landesbank Baden Wuerttemberg is a Germany-based bank. The Company diversifies its activities into five operational segments, including corporate segment, retail clients segment, financial markets segment, credit investment portfolio/treasury segment and corporate items segment. The Corporate segment includes corporate customers and real estate financing business areas with focus on the core markets of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Saxony and Rhineland-Palatinate. The retail clients segment covers all activities related to private customer, including retail, investment, private banking and wealth management customers. The financial markets segment includes, apart from trading operations, all sales activities with credit institutions, sovereigns, insurance companies and pension funds. The credit investment portfolio/treasury segment mainly comprises the Company's own investments and management of assets. The corporate items segment includes all other activities of the Company.
