LaserBond provided earnings guidance for the fiscal year 2014. For the year, the company expects revenue of AUD 9.8 million, which represents an increase of approximately 5% over financial year 2013. The company expects profit before tax in the range of AUD 1.05 million to AUD 1.1 million. This represents an increase of more than 100% over that reported for continuing operations for the financial year 2013 after adjusting for the significant non-recurring factors (impairment and moving costs) in that year. As a consequence of the above, the reportable consolidated profit before tax attributable to members is expected to be in the range of AUD 850,000 to AUD 900,000.

With the problems of the Queensland division behind the company, the executive management has been able to increase focus on the core profitable business including research and application development activities. These activities are expected to yield significant increases in profitability during fiscal year 2015 and beyond.
