SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) _ LATAM Airlines Group SA (LTMAQ) on Wednesday reported a loss of $523.2 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Santiago, Chile-based company said it had a loss of 86 cents.

The airline posted revenue of $2.18 billion in the period.
