On March 11, 2021, the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of Laureate Education, Inc. (the "Company") awarded Eilif Serck-Hanssen, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, a discretionary cash bonus of $1,000,000 in recognition of his significant contribution to the Company's strategic review process during calendar year 2020.
