London and San Francisco: Global marketing and technology agency LBi has appointed Anthony Lye to the position of President of Digital Platforms and Channel. 

The newly created role will see Lye devise and implement a product development strategy for LBi's marketing cloud including its Audience Engagement Platform, which enables the distribution, measurement and optimisation of content across multiple media channels.

Reporting directly to LBi's Global Chief Executive Luke Taylor, Lye will be responsible for driving client take up of the agency's IP toolkit across a global footprint spanning 32 offices in 17 countires. He will also work to ensure that LBi's marketing cloud develops in-line with its blended service offering, which combines strategic, creative, media and technical expertise to build business value.

Additionaly, Lye will be charged with defining LBi's global channel partnership strategy and ensuring that the agency continues to work closely with third-parties including Adobe, Oracle and Salesforce.

Lye has over 20 years' experience and a proven pedigree in bringing to market world-class software and CRM solutions. He joins LBi from Oracle where he led the CRM strategy and development for on premise and cloud applications. Lye was the driving force behind Oracle's customer experience strategy and led the acquisitions of ATG, RightNow, InQuira and Fatwire as well as the assembly, integration and productisation of Oracle's IP stack. Lye joined Oracle from Siebel Systems.

Most recently Lye was Senior Vice President of Oracle Cloud Applications, heading up corporate strategy and communications for Oracle Cloud, Oracle Applications and Oracle Customer Experience.
