DAVENPORT, Iowa (October 21, 2020) - Lee Enterprises, Incorporated (NYSE: LEE), a leading provider of news, information and advertising in 77 markets, announced today that it has named media executive Robin Gruen vice president of Brand Avenue Studios. She will lead Lee's custom content division, which provides world class branded content and video solutions to businesses and marketing partners nationwide.

'The importance of custom content for marketers has never been greater to Lee and our advertisers,' said Lee Vice President of Local Advertising Joe Battistoni. 'Robin brings the perfect mix of experience and creativity to lead our expansion in the space.'

Prior to joining Lee, Gruen was vice president of creative and strategy for Studio 1847, the custom content division of Tribune Publishing Company. Her career also includes content development at Weber Shandwick, a global public relations firm, and editor positions for top consumer magazines, including Parents, Seventeen and Shape.

Gruen holds a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and is a graduate of the University of Michigan, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Communications Studies.
