CARTHAGE, Mo. (AP) _ Leggett & Platt Inc. (LEG) on Monday reported second-quarter net income of $95.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the Carthage, Missouri-based company said it had profit of 70 cents.

The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 70 cents per share.

The engineered component manufacturer posted revenue of $1.33 billion in the period, also meeting Street forecasts.

Legget & Platt expects full-year earnings to be $2.65 to $2.80 per share, with revenue in the range of $5.2 billion to $5.4 billion.
