MIAMI (AP) _ Lennar Corp. (LEN) on Tuesday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $1.32 billion.

On a per-share basis, the Miami-based company said it had profit of $4.49. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $4.69 per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $3.95 per share.

The homebuilder posted revenue of $8.36 billion in the period.
