(Alliance News) - Leonardo Spa announced Wednesday that the EUDAAS - European Detect and Avoid System - demonstrator, integrated into the company's Falco Xplorer, has completed its final test flight at Trapani airport, validating advanced sensors, digital flight controls and intelligent technologies. These are activities aimed at the safe integration of large remotely piloted aircraft in European airspace, alongside other manned and unmanned aircraft

Leonardo's Falco Xplorer remotely piloted aircraft system recently successfully concluded at Trapani Birgi airport a major test activity aimed at validating the "Detect and Avoid" technology demonstrator, part of the EUDAAS project funded under the European Defense Industrial Development Program.

Leonardo's stock closed 0.7 percent in the red Wednesday at EUR24.95 per share.
