Leonardo S p A : reports slight fall in first half sales, issues new 2020 guidance

Italian defence group Leonardo said on Thursday it expected full-year revenue to come in the range of 13.2-14 billion euros(11.9-12.6 billion pounds), compared with 14-14.5 billion euros indicated in March, before taking into account the impact of the coronavirus.

Full-year earnings before interest, tax and amortization (EBITA) are expected between 900 and 950 million euros, compared with a March guidance of 1.325-1.357 billion euros.

In the first half the group reported a 1.4% fall in revenue to 5.88 billion euros due to a weaker performance of its helicopter business.
