Lhyfe announces the inauguration in Buléon of its Lhyfe Bretagne green and renewable hydrogen production site, the first of its kind to be built in Brittany and one of the two largest in France, along with the Lhyfe Occitanie site.

The site, which is part of the Vallée Hydrogène Grand Ouest project, also marks the start of the hydrogen industry in Brittany, with Lorient Agglomération set to launch its first hydrogen plants in the first quarter of 2024.

The company is thus confirming its objectives for large-scale industrial deployment, with five other sites already under construction or extension across Europe. Lhyfe aims to produce up to 80 tons per day by 2026.
