Life Insurance Corporation of India announced that Shri Ramakrishnan Chander, Executive Director (Investment - Front Office) has taken charge as Chief Investment Officer, Key Managerial Personnel (?KMP?) on June 05, 2025. Date of Appointment June 05, 2025, untill his superannuation (i.e. September 30, 2027) or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Shri Ramakrishnan Chander joined the Corporation in the year 1990 as an Assistant Administrative Officer.
He has done his Post Graduation Diploma in Financial Management and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India. He has experience of working as Senior Divisional Manager of Nagpur and Hyderabad Divisions. He has also worked as Regional Manager (Marketing), South Zone and as Regional Manager (Pension & Group Schemes), South Central Zone.
In his previous assignment, he led Corporation's Strategic Business Unit - International Operations as Executive Director. He is currently heading Investment - Front Office of the Corporation.
