LifePoint Health : Promotes Two Veteran Leaders to New Roles

(June 21, 2018) - LifePoint Health® (NASDAQ: LPNT), a leading healthcare company dedicated to Making Communities Healthier®, has promoted two vice presidents to new roles. Kevin Manis has been promoted to senior vice president, audit and enterprise risk services, and Michael Grooms has been promoted to vice president and chief accounting officer, effective immediately.

In his new role, Manis will continue to have oversight of the internal audit function of the company, including overseeing the internal controls program and work plan. Additionally, he will continue serving as co-chair of LifePoint's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Steering Committee and oversee the company's ERM Program in collaboration with LifePoint's chief compliance and policy officer, Reggie Hill. Manis joined the company in 2007 and previously served as vice president, audit services.

In Groom's newly expanded role of vice president and chief accounting officer, he will oversee the activities of the company's accounting department and financial reporting functions. This includes internal and external financial reporting, general and technical accounting, financial planning and analysis, capital spend and accounting for acquisitions. He will continue reporting to Mike Coggin, LifePoint's executive vice president and chief financial officer. Grooms joined LifePoint in 2006, and most recently was vice president, accounting and financial reporting.
