GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (AP) _ Lifetime Brands Inc. (LCUT) on Thursday reported first-quarter net income of $3.1 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Garden City, New York-based company said it had net income of 14 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 13 cents per share.

The kitchen products company posted revenue of $195.7 million in the period.

Lifetime Brands expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.24 to $1.33 per share, with revenue in the range of $847 million to $856 million.

Lifetime Brands shares have fallen almost 4% since the beginning of the year. The stock has nearly tripled in the last 12 months.
