Exercise of Option in Lindsell Train Limited

The Board announces that Mr James Bullock, an executive employee of Lindsell Train Limited ("LTL"), has elected to exercise an option to purchase 10 LTL shares in for cash consideration of £43,151.40. Following this transaction, the Company's share of LTL has fallen from 24.23% to 24.19% of the issued share capital.

This option was originally granted to Mr Bullock in 2016, when at the same time Michael Lindsell and Nick Train also each granted Mr Bullock options on 20 shares with the same terms. These transactions are part of an ongoing strategy to incentivise the executives of LTL to help the future success of the business, which the Board is pleased to support.

Biography - Mr James Bullock, Portfolio Manager

James is Portfolio Manager for global equity accounts having joined Lindsell Train in October 2010. He has a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Oxford and a doctorate in Biomechanics from the University of Cambridge. He passed the Investment Management Certificate in 2012 and was promoted to Portfolio Manager in April 2015.

Share Split - On 1 February 2019, LTL undertook a share split, and at that time each £100 share was subdivided into 10 shares of £10 each.
