Lintec Corp. reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2011. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 151,657 million, operating income of JPY 11,662 million, ordinary income of JPY 11,162 million, net income of JPY 6,982 million or JPY 92.85 per diluted share compared to net sales of JPY 158,948 million, operating income of JPY 16,788 million, ordinary income of JPY 15,839 million, net income of JPY 10,926 million or JPY 144.46 per diluted share a year ago. Income before income taxes was JPY 10,946 million compared to JPY 15,837 million a year ago.
The company forecasted year-end dividend of JPY 20 per share for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012.
The company provided earnings guidance for the full year ending March 31, 2012. For the period, the company expects net sales of JPY 200,000 million, operating income of JPY 14,000 million, ordinary income of JPY 13,500 million, net income of JPY 9,400 million or JPY 125.28 per share.
LINTEC Corporation is a Japan-based company mainly involved in the manufacture and sale of printing material and industrial engineering material related products. The Company operates in three business segments. The Printing and Industrial Material-related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of adhesive products for seals and labels, label printing machinery, barcode printers, film used for outdoor signages and advertisement, window film, automobile adhesive products and industrial adhesive tape, among others. The Electronic and Optic-related segment provides semiconductor-related adhesive products, semiconductor-related machinery, coating film for laminated ceramic capacitors and optical-related products.
