Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. Announces Executive Changes

On August 30, 2021, Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. and Bruce Bromage, the Company's Chief Operating Officer, entered into a Separation Agreement and General Release pursuant to which Dr. Bromage agreed to resign as an officer and employee of the Company. On August 30, 2021, the Company and Bryce Van, the Company's Vice President- Finance, entered into a Separation Agreement and General Release pursuant to which Mr. Van agreed to resign as an officer and employee of the Company and the Company and Mr. Van agreed to terminate Mr. Van's employment agreement with Mr. Van's employment to end on October 15, 2021 (the Van Separation Agreement"). On August 30, 2021, the Board appointed Tony Chung as the Company's principal financial and accounting officer. Mr. Chung is the Company's Chief Executive Officer, and in that capacity, serves as the Company's principal executive officer.
Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. is a materials technology company that develops and commercializes products made from amorphous alloys. The Company's Liquidmetal family of alloys consists of a variety of bulk alloys and composites that utilize the advantages offered by amorphous alloy technology. The Company designs, develops, and sells custom products and parts from bulk amorphous alloys to customers in various industries. The Company also partners with third-party manufacturers and licensees to develop and commercialize Liquidmetal alloy products. The Company is engaged in product development efforts relating to various medical devices and automotive components that could be made from bulk Liquidmetal alloys. The Company work with partners to design, develop, and supply components for non-consumer electronic devices utilizing its bulk Liquidmetal alloys. The Company is developing a variety of applications for Liquidmetal alloys in the sporting goods and leisure products area.
